Davhomin can explain just give him a moment-
I realized I completely forgot to add the heightchart I did when drawing the 3 together but this gave me the perfect excuse to draw them together again jsdhklsja (chart under the cut)
Once again Atlas (the one in the middle) is @kelandrin's Tav and Izzrhys (the one on the right) is @taras-toe-beans's Tav
I think this three have become my new brainrot I'm sorry-
Davhomin is SMALL next to the both of them oh god-

Busting out the slayer form during a fight while not having told anyone about it previously is so funny. Minthara lae'zel and astarion when the weird psycho they've been fucking turns into a massive flesh monster and bites balthazar's fucking head off

the other irony is that i've used the oath of devotion channel divinities maybe... once???? in the whole game. turning is so situational, and sacred weapon... isn't useless but why is it a whole action instead of a bonus action!!! making every creature within 30ft frightened, on the other hand.............................

Meh, I’m kinda torn on this myself. I do agree that Lolth hasn’t truly abandoned Minthara, especially since she’s a Baenre. I think Minthara only believes Lolth completely abandoned her because Lolth ignored her in Moonrise when she was on the verge of death and was praying for Lolth to help her. Now, Lolth actually does give all drow who disappoint her a second chance to regain her favor which would include Minthara. Lolth may be hateful and vindictive but, despite popular belief, she isn’t beyond reason nor is she stupid. Lolth is still a god and she has reason to want to keep as many clerics and paladins as she can. But the means of regaining that favor usually involve doing some pretty messed up things and often involves killing a lover.
Not to mention, if Lolth truly did completely abandon Minthara, she would have instantly devoured her the moment Minthara returned to the Underdark in her default ending, or worse. But Lolth absolutely LOVES chaos and she loves it more than she hates those who defy or betray her. And Minthara intends to bring a shit load of chaos when she returns (it's also the reason why I disagree with Minthara being placed as Lawful Evil, she is more Neutral/Chaotic Evil if anything). Especially since Minthara’s chaos involves waging war against the Baenre house which will shake shit up for the entirety of Menzoberranzan and Lolth is going to feed off all of that. Now the Baenre’s are her favorite, but Minthara is also a Baenre. She will most likely just reclaim the house for herself after killing her mother. If Minthara succeeds at what she wants to accomplish, I imagine it would be enough to regain Lolth's favor. It's only a matter of whether or not Minthara actually cares to receive that favor again, which I don't think she cares to.
However, I also think it is much more plausible that Minthara is a canon oathbreaker, but not by choosing. By swearing an oath to the Absolute, her oath with Lolth did indeed break, even if she did not choose to break it. But, that doesn’t really matter. When she leaves the Absolute, her oath with the Absolute also breaks. By this point, Minthara is an oathbreaker twice over. But, she does not swear a new oath to Lolth and has no intentions to. Her time with the Absolute has given her a newfound perspective of the gods and realizes that she wants nothing to do with them and would rather be free of them. If she is going to follow anyone's word she'd rather it be her own.
Instead, Minthara swears a godless oath to destroy the Absolute, which is why she isn’t an oathbreaker by the time she joins camp. However, she does have a line of dialogue in which she says she is unsure if her oath will still stand once the Absolute business is done and over with. Minthara's dialogue does directly state that if you do dominate the Elder Brain, she will swear an Oath of Conquest. But if the Elder Brain isn't destroyed, well, the path diverges a bit and it is a bit unknown as to what becomes of her oath. If she remains in BG with her romance partner, most likely she will keep her Oath of Vengeance. But, her intentions with the Underdark and her house kind of implies both Oath of Vengeance and Oath of Conquest.
Sorry for the rant. You have no idea how much time I had to spent researching Lolth and her relationships with clerics/paladins when I was writing my fanfic.
*WHEEEZE* wait... wait wait... WAIT. HOLD UP WAIT!!!! SO IF A PALADIN'S OATH BEING BROKEN MEANS THEIR DEITY HAS LEFT AND ABANDONED THEM AND THATS WHY THEY FEEL EMPTY, DOES THIS MEAN... WITH A STILL IN PLACE OATH..... *HEAVY BREATHING ON MY KNEES* DOES ... DOES THIS MEAN... LOLTH.... IS STILL WITH MINTHARA... AND HAS NOT ABANDONED HER COMPLETELY LIKE SHE THINKS????

Begging you to release the dnd art oh my GAWD or just your big brain thoughts of that au. I live and breathe dnd and i HAVE to know what you've assigned them. Also goes without saying ur art is gorge and some people are bitter bitches dont drop let them take ur crown king

Hello, dear, thank you sm 🫶🏻 I have a bunch of wips for the au I'll finish probably the next century (you're getting the exclusive eheh)
I'm obsessed with DND too, so I basically thought about reimagining the plot of ca:the winter soldier with a fantasy twist!
For the classes I thought about Steve being a paladin of the crown, going oathbreaker when he finds about the corrupt nobles he serves and then oath of devotion to protect his friends! He thought Bucky died during a battle, they were knights together, childhood friends. Bucky actually died but his corpse has been collected caught by Hydra/red mages and experimented on. He got eventually brought back to life (as a reborn) and made a mutant bloodhunter (the arm has some eldritch symbiote-entity like the one in marvel rivals)

for all my talk of shri’iia being a menace and a gremlin I think she’s pretty principled. her alignment when she was still a crown paladin was lawful evil, and when she turned into an oathbreaker it shifts to chaotic neutral. crown paladin shri’iia has honour in a sense that she diligently follows the tenets and ideals of the deity she is devoted to - but the deity being a chaotic evil goddess who loves tormenting her own followers as a hobby. her whole concept as a crown paladin is that if she was following a good aligned deity, she would be the most virtuous, honourable and knightly knight who has ever knighted because she takes those tenets and ideals and embodies it fully. when she was in menzoberranzan she was exactly that! except she didn’t thrive in there because fully following the doctrine isn’t what you’re supposed to do ; you’re supposed to be chaotic and cunning like the dark mistress and anyone who outright follows her is primed to be used essentially. and that’s what happens to shri’iia lol. but anyway I think crown paladin shri’iia is lawful evil - she follows the ideals of lolth so rigidly it doesn’t give her room to do anything else or be anything else. that’s also why the thought of defying lolth, or going against what she wants in pursuit of her own personal gain is a thought that she would eradicate because why would she? even though that very thing is very much encouraged albeit unspoken. when she becomes an oathbreaker I think her principles wouldn’t be so rigid just because she’s not devoting herself to a specific doctrine anymore. the oathbreaker oath itself is pretty abstract ; its main goal being centred around freedom and free will and that in itself can look different for everyone so she’s not following her oath word for word per say. there’s more wiggle room around it just bc of how abstract it is, and I think that will lead her to be more morally ambiguous since she’s allowing herself to question her own actions rather than just mindlessly follow.
which is an interesting concept for me tbh hehe how she turns more morally ambiguous and she lets herself be more complex and more selfish in her ‘good route’ since the alternate is just mindlessly following a chaotic goddess’ doctrine. like just shri’iia failing upwards since the oathbreaker path is considered the more evil alternative routes for paladins except for her, it’s the reverse since she finally has the chance and space to think for herself.
#like an au if she’s devoted to a good aligned goddess instead of lolth- like selune maybe - she’d just be another run of the mill good#paladin knight in shining armour type bc she rlly will e#embody the tenets of what she’s following. but in this case it’s the tenets of lolth thats why she’s evil lol but she’s principled#then when she becomes an oathbreaker shell be less principled and less rigid. allows herself that leeway to think differently bc that’s#what her new oath is encouraging her to do. I also think she’s less powerful in the oathbreaker route since her ideals aren’t fully#realised - not as much as they were when she was still a crown paladin - and that’s like the source of her power essentially lol#but I do like the idea of her turning more selfish is like a good thing.#and it’s like why the act of oath breaking in itself is so intentional and it hits her so bad bc she’s been hardwired to follow lolth’s#tenets but when she gets into the surface she’s forcing herself to act and think differently bc she’s scared……#and she’s trying to appeal to the others/make herself look less of a threat bc she knows how much the surfacers hate lolth and drows#and trying to be appealing is like. how she responds when she’s scared ok.. something about how that’s used to manipulate and use her being#and that behaviour is used to control her too and it being the very thing that leads to her downfall#which in turn leads her to regaining her own free will again hehehehehieehsisehheh 🤭🤭🤭🤭🤭#oc: shri’iia.

Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 is just a dnd campaign we have a full table of 8 players, but not every player can make every session, because scheduling conflicts are just Like That. the pcs are
(and all information is pulled from the dnd5e wiki)
Henry of Skalitz: Oath of either Vengeance or redemption paladin depending on player choice, Artisan background
Hans Capon of Pirkstein: Fighter, Arcane Archer, Noble
Father Godwin: Cleric Hermit
Samuel: Haunted One Inquisitive Rogue
Dry Devil: Pyromancy Sorcerer, Criminal.
Kubyenka: Way of the Drunken Master Monk, venmoed the dm 20 bucks with "dibs on the drunk monk" a week before session zero. mercenary.
Adder: Path of the Beast Barbarian (specifically snake-vibes) Mercenary.
Janosh: School of Gastronomy Wizard (from Valda's Spire), Mercenary.
Janosh and Adder's players also sometimes play Istvan Toth and Erik, a Mastermind Rogue with the Knight background and an Oath of Vengeance to Oathbreaker paladin with the acolyte background.  NPCs
Brabant is the dmnpc charlitan swords bard. the table instaclocks that this guy cannot be trusted but he just keeps passing insight checks.
Katherine and Musa are both healers because Godwin both cant keep up and keeps picking combat spells. Jan Zizka is a Folk Hero Banneret Fighter.
gonna go through and actually make charictar sheets for these dumb kids eventually. Also, gonna properly adapt the main quests into a rundown like those XP to level Three lotr but DnD parodies.
Janosh and Adder’s players are dating IRL, every crude comment they say to each other irl just becomes cannon. Henry and Hans (but especially Hans) have the most overly detailed lore, and they are both really into the roleplay. Samuel’s Player just learned about their family trauma and is trying to work through some generational shit (it’s me hi im Samuel’s player) by making an obviously and not even sort of subtle Jewish allegory for this fantasy setting. The dm just sighs and rolls with it since she was planning on adding a religious schism to the world lore at some point so why not have smaller faiths as well. Father Godwin, Kubyenka, and Dry Devil all show up to the table completely hammered. Dry Devil will cast fireball on a room his party members are in. Dry Devil and Kubyenka are actually murderhobos, while Janosh and Adder’s players are just being very in character. After all, Janosh at least can have restraint enough to scheme as Istvan. (The two get teased for only playing couples in every game)
the DM is never going to run a party of this size again
please feel free to share your ideas if you have an idea how a build or a bit could go

SACROSANCT ; paladin / knight leon x saintess!reader
Tumblr media
the whole work was inspired by this art from @chesue00 , once again, thank you so much for letting me use it and link it here, it's absolutely DIVINE that it slingshotted me back in my xreader zone
Tumblr media
summary: Leon, a paladin of the temple who became a disillusioned oathbreaker, returns from years of war with a noble title and shattered faith. Once devoted to the Saintess who healed him, Leon's admiration has twisted into repressed desire—feelings he could never express, tainted by guilt and shame. Now a celebrated hero, he’s drawn back not to the kingdom’s praises, but to the chance of one last glimpse of you to move on with his life.
The god he abandoned has other plans for him.
genre: historical fantasy, bodice ripper
rating: explicit
tags: religious guilt, sexual repression, yearning, angst, mutual pining, self-sabotaging, biblically accurate self-loathing of leon but the rest is quite ooc, lowkey character development(s), light dom/sub, switch leon kennedy (he wants to get stepped on but also is into "defiling" the reader), femdom, sexual roleplay, character exploration and catharsis through sex, sex education, surprisingly fluffy, degradation kink, masturbation, marking kink, corruption kink, dacryphilia, loss of virginity, oral (female receiving), vaginal orgasm training, edging, overstimulation, unprotected sex (they're married)
